High school students Jang Guk (Lee So-yeon) and Yu Jun-su (Namkoong Min) spend the night together after South Korea’s euphoric 2002 World Cup win, resulting in Jang Guk falling pregnant.
Following a tragic accident, she loses the baby and both mothers find the perfect opportunity to drive the couple apart – until they meet again, 12 years later.
