After being ditched by her long-term boyfriend when he discovers she is pregnant, Lee Soo-jung (Kim Sung-ryung), flees to America, leaving her daughter in the care of an adoptive family.
She returns to Korea 25 years later as a qualified chef, with a new identity, Rena Jung, determined to set a new course and ensure her happy ending. She pursues the eldest son of the TNC Group, Park Min-joon (Lee Jong-hyuk), and eventually wins him over, but when he discovers her deception, he wants nothing more to do with her.
To complicate things further, her daughter starts her quest to find her biological mother – who is much closer than she thinks.
