Hyde, Jekyll, Me follows theme park Wonderland CEO Gu Seo-jin (Hyun Bin) and his ordered life, however, when it is disrupted and his heart rate exceeds 150, his alter-ego emerges – a person in complete contrast to him – warm, compassionate and kind Robin.
The drama starts with an incident at Wonderland, where he comes into direct contact with the recently-returned circus master Jang Ha-na (Han Ji-min). In all the excitement, his heart starts racing and he almost transforms into Robin. To avoid it from possibly happening again, he makes the sudden decision to shut the circus down for good and has a heated argument with Ha-na before dismissing her.
The story continues with the psychiatrist that has been treating him, Dr Kang, reaching out to him to let him know that she has found a possible cure for his split personality. Dr Kang believes it is all related to an incident in his past – a time when he desperately needed to be saved and Robin was created for this purpose. When he reaches her office, he runs into Ha-na who followed him to confront him, and a masked assailant. Seo-jin abandons Ha-na for his own safety, but in all the excitement Robin appears and saves the day. With the disappearance of Dr Kang, they realise they need to work together to save her, so strike a deal to manage the two personalities – Seo-jin by day, Robin by night.
