Kingdom’s CEO Joo Joong-won’s (So Ji-sub) life changes when he picks up a woman on the side of the road in a heavy storm.  She turns out to be Tae Gong-shil (Gong Hyo-jin) who is able to see and communicate with ghosts.

Gong-shil has fallen on hard times and lives the life of a recluse.  Unable to secure a job in any industry, she finally lands one at Kingdom, secure in the fact that the CEO knows her secret.  But for Joong-won, he only trusts things he can see and believes that humans are more dangerous than ghosts, but this all changes when Gong-shil reveals she can see a ghost from his past standing with him.  As the ghost is the only person who knows what happened to the missing ransom, he decides to keep Gong-shil by his side as his radar until she turns up again.
