Tucked away in a quiet, dimly-lit street sits a bar called XX that is welcoming, inviting and exclusive. So exclusive that its very existence is a secret – only those in the know, know.

Working at the bar is the extremely talented head bartender Yoon Na-na (Ahn Hee-yeon) and former softball player Park Dan-hee (Bae In-hyuk), who cares a lot about learning the craft of bartending, but a great deal more about Na-na.

Alongside Na-na is her best friend, aspiring perfumer Wang Jeong-deun, also known by his English name, Jayden (Lee Jong-won). Jeong-deun provides a delicate and unique blend of humour (who doesn’t do yoga with snacks?), cattiness and perfectly-delivered one liners that renders most speechless.

The tranquillity of the bar is interrupted when the past arrives at XX’s door, in the form of Na-na’s estranged best friend Lee Roo-mi (Hwang Seung-eon). As the new owner of the XX, Seung-eon, needs to regain Na-na’s trust to ensure its ongoing success, which proves to be a lot easier said than done.
