High school sweethearts, professor Hyun Ji-seok (Kang Ji-hwan) and scriptwriter Go Mi-yeon (Kim Ha-neul), end their relationship after uncovering a secret involving both of their families. Four years on, they meet again and decide to continue their relationship in spite of their family’s opposition, but this all changes when Ji-seok’s father takes drastic action and commits suicide in despair. Guilt from his death drives the couple apart, and over time, they move on and start new lives and relationships.
Years later, when Ji-seok discovers he is terminally ill and has 90 days to live, he decides to reconnect with Mi-yeon and spend the remaining days with the love of his life.
