Political drama

Chief of Staff

Delivered over two seasons, Chief of Staff follows the dedicated people who work tirelessly behind the scenes to advance their careers in the cut-throat world of politics.

Chief of Staff Jang Tae-joon (Lee Jung-jae) goes to great lengths to advance his career, often operating on the fringes to get ahead. Working for the politically astute and power hungry Assemblyman Song Hae-seop (Kim Kap-soo), he is supported by a team including Yoon Hye-won (Lee Elijah) and intern Kim Dong-jun (Han Do-kyeong). As his boundaries become increasingly blurred, he realises to get ahead that he needs to make sacrifices, some of those being the ones closest to him – his lover and spokesperson for her party Kang Seon-yeong (Shin Min-ah) and his mentor Lee Seong-min (Jung jin-young).
