Kairos

Korean drama Kairos
The action-packed science fiction Korean drama Kairos bends time travelling between the past in the future through two desperate people who will do anything to reverse their fate and save their loved ones.

Kim Seo-jin (Shin Sung-rok) has the perfect life. He is happily married to the beautiful, talented yet vulnerable violinist Kang Hyun Chae (Nam Gyu-ri), with whom he shares a stunning daughter Kim Da Bin (Shim Hye-yeon). As the youngest ever director at his company, he is mentor to the extremely ambitious but calculating Seo Do-kyun (Ahn Bo-hyun).

But one tragic incident changes everything in an instant.

His daughter goes missing. The best case scenario is that she has been kidnapped. The worst case scenario is not worth thinking about. Faced with the prospect of losing it all, Seo-jin becomes determined to do anything to turn back time to go back to the way things were.

And at that moment, a chance encounter leads him to meet Han Ae-ri (Lee Se-young) – a voice buried in the past.

Determined and driven Ae-ri is a part-time student and part-time worker.  She uses money she earns from her many jobs to pay for her studies and save for her mother, Kwak Song-ja’s (Hwang Jung-min) life-saving surgery. She has a strong, enduring friendship with Im Gun-wook (Kang Seung-yoon).  He provides a bit of light relief in her otherwise demanding and difficult life.

But just as everything is about to fall into place, her mother goes missing – just moments before her surgery.

Ae-ri enlists the help of Gun-wook to search desperately for her missing mother, which brings her directly to meet Seo-jin – a voice from the future.

Now, in a race against time, two complete strangers, bound together over time and space by tragedy need to work together to try to reverse their fate.
