Legend of the Blue Sea

Fate conspires to throw a mermaid (Jun Ji-hyun) and a man (Lee Min-ho) together across the bounds of time, often with disastrous consequences. But in the present day, will they be able to reverse their fortune and alter its course?

In the Josean era, nobleman Kim Moon (Lee Min-ho) rescues mermaid Shim Chung (Jun Ji-hyun) from certain death and suffers the consequences.  In the modern day, they meet again under different circumstances.  Heo Joon-jae (Lee Min-ho) is a con artist that works with two friends, Jo Nam Doo (Lee Hee-joon) and hacker Tae0oh (Shin Won-ho) on elaborate schemes to make money.  After a successful con, he takes a holiday in Spain where he meets up with a mysterious woman (Shim Chung) in his hotel room.
