My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho

The action begins when college student and aspiring action star Cha Dae-wook (Lee Seung-gi) escapes from his grandfather and finds himself stranded in the middle of nowhere. He stumbles across a shrine and accidentally releases a nine-tailed fox that has been trapped in a painting for 500 years.  

While fleeing the scene, he falls down a steep embankment and when he wakes up he finds the nine-tailed fox (gumiho) in front of him.  The two strike up a deal – she will hide her identity and live as a human in exchange for giving him a mystical fox bead that will give him increased strength and speed.
