On her wedding day, Baek Jang-mi’s (Lee Young-ah) father dies, leaving her in incredible financial debt. Her husband, Kang Min-chul (Jung Joon) abandons her and she is forced to find a way to support herself. She manages to land a job at a rice cake shop where she meets the incredibly difficult and irritating Hwang Tae-ja (Go Joo-won).
