When the Crown Prince’s consort gives birth to fraternal twins (considered to be an ominous sign) she takes drastic measures to save the lives of her children by sending one twin, her daughter, out of the palace. Years later, when tragedy strikes and claims the life of her son, she decides to bring her daughter back and hide her identity, raising her as the next Crown Prince Lee Hwi (Park Eun-bin).
But everything comes under threat when Lee Hwi meets her handsome tutor, Jung Ji-woon (Rowoon) and starts developing feelings for him.
