Descendants of the Sun

A love story between Captain Yoo Shi-jin (Song Joong-ki) and Dr Kang Mo-yeon (Song Hye-sun) against the backdrop of a fictional war-torn country.

The story begins with two special forces officers Yoo Si-jin (Song Joong-ki) and Master Sergent Seo Dae-young (Jin Goo) who help stop a crime but not an injury to the thief.  He is taken to hospital and treated by Dr Kang Mo-yeon (Song Hye-kyo) who mistakenly believes they are both part of the same gang.

They clear up the misunderstanding and agree to go on a date, but it is cut short when Captain Yoo is called up for duty.  Eight months later they meet again, this time on an airfield, with him as the Captain of his elite special forces on a peacekeeping mission and her as part of a voluntary medical team that has been sent to Uruk to provide much-needed medical support.

Descendants of the Sun provides the perfect amount of action, drama, humour and romance that will keep you engaged right to the very end.
