Save the Family challenges the notion of what it means to be a family as told through the lens of doctor Jung Woo-jin (Jae Hee) who has failed in love due to interference from his family. When Lee Hae-soo (Kang Byul) moves into his neighbourhood and the two start spending time together, he is forced to make a decision that will impact the rest of his life.
