Sungkyunkwan Scandal

Set in the Joseon era, Kim Yoon-hee (Park Min-young) disguises herself as a man and works at a bookshop in a bit to earn much-needed income to support her mother and ill brother.  To prevent her house from being seized after failing to repay medical debts that have been incurred, she decides to help others cheat their way into the prestigious Sungkyunkwan University.  However, her at her first attempt, she is caught red-handed by the upstanding Lee Sun-joon (Park Yoo-chun), and quickly flees the scene.  She discovers when she returns home that her family have offered her for marriage in exchange for their debt in four days’s time.

To prevent this from happening, she assumes her brother’s identity and enters Sungkyunkwan University.  There she meets notorious womaniser Gu Yong-ha (Song Joong-ki) and moody and temperamental Moon Jae-shin (Yoo Ah-in) and desperately tries to avoid Sun-joon, with limited success.
